Hi, I’m Sam. I understand seeking support can be one of the hardest—and most courageous—steps a person takes. My goal is to provide a space where you feel heard, respected, and accepted exactly as you are.

I'm passionate about helping people navigate life's challenges while creating a space where they can be completely themselves. This is a place where you don't have to have the "right" words, pretend everything is okay, or apologize for having emotions. (Seriously—you can cry. And if you accidentally laugh while crying, that's okay too. Humans are wonderfully weird like that.)

I believe healing doesn't always have to feel heavy. While we'll absolutely do meaningful work together, I also believe there is room for laughter along the way. Sometimes a well-timed joke, a little perspective, or finding humor in life's everyday absurdities can remind us that hope is still present—even on difficult days.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to you. I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, difficulties in relationships, addiction, and stressors of life. I specialize in the treatment of trauma using WET (Written Exposure Therapy) as the primary intervention for PTSD. Every person I meet has a different story, different strengths, and different goals. Together we'll explore what's keeping you stuck, celebrate the tiniest of victories, and develop practical tools that fit your life—not someone else's idea of what life should look like.

I believe therapy should feel like a conversation, not an interrogation. I may ask thoughtful questions, challenge you when it helps you grow, and celebrate your progress right alongside you.

When I'm not meeting with clients, you'll probably find me enjoying time with family and friends, laughing at terrible dad jokes, getting outside when I can, or finding joy in the little moments that often get overlooked. I enjoy music, being creative, and trying new things I may not be good at. I believe those moments matter, and I encourage my clients to notice them, too.

Whether this is your first experience with therapy or your tenth, I consider it a privilege to walk alongside you. Sometimes you just need a moment—to pause, to breathe, to laugh, and to remember that change is possible.
