Initial Phone Consult: 10 Minutes
Our first conversation is a chance for us to get to know one another and see if we're a good fit. Finding the right therapist is important, and I want you to feel comfortable, heard, and understood. This is your opportunity to ask questions, share what brings you to therapy, and get a sense of how I work. After all, you're trusting someone with your life story—it should be someone you feel connected talking to.
Intake and Assessment: 65 Minutes
The intake assessment is our first official therapy appointment and marks the beginning of your therapeutic journey. During this session, we'll review practice policies, consent forms, and make sure all of your questions or concerns are answered. You'll also have the opportunity to share more about your history, current stressors, symptoms, and how they are affecting your daily life. There's no pressure to tell your entire life story in one session—we'll take it one conversation at a time.
Benefits of Telehealth/Online Therapy
Life is busy, and taking care of your mental health shouldn't require a complicated game of calendar Tetris. Online therapy lets you connect from the comfort of your home, office, or any private space where you feel most at ease. No commute, no hunting for parking, and no wondering if you remembered to turn the coffee pot off. Many people find they're able to relax and open up more easily when they're in a familiar environment. Whether you're balancing work, parenting, school, or life's never-ending to-do list, virtual therapy makes it easier to prioritize yourself. The only thing you'll need is a private space, a reliable internet connection, and maybe a favorite mug of coffee or tea. Sometimes the hardest part of therapy is simply making time for it, and online therapy helps remove a few of those barriers so you can focus on what really matters: you.
Individual Therapy: 50 Minutes
Individual therapy is a space created just for you. Together, we'll explore the challenges you're facing, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you navigate life's ups and downs. Every session is personalized to your unique goals, providing a supportive, judgment-free environment where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow.
Addiction treatment services are also available as an indepedant service or integrated into other therapy services.
Treatment for trauma and PTSD is provided through evidenced-based intervention designed to reduce the symptoms and interference in daily life.
Private Pay Therapy: Your Care, Your Choice
Choosing private pay therapy gives you the freedom to focus on your mental health—not your insurance company's checklist. Without the limitations that can come with insurance, we can tailor treatment to you and your unique goals, rather than fitting your story into a diagnosis or predetermined number of sessions. Private pay also offers an added layer of privacy knowing there won’t be someone from an insurance company reviewing your information. It means we can spend our time talking about what matters most instead of wondering whether your stress, anxiety, or life transition has been assigned the "correct" billing code. Therapy is an investment in yourself, your relationships, and your future, and private pay allows us to keep the focus where it belongs: helping you feel better, grow, and move forward—without anyone looking over our shoulders (except, perhaps, your cat, who still insists on supervising every important conversation).
